About Rizal Park (Luneta Park)

The most iconic public park in the Philippines, named after national hero Jose Rizal. Site of his execution in 1896 which galvanized the independence movement. Spans 58 hectares with the Rizal Monument (containing his remains), Chinese and Japanese Gardens, Orchidarium, central lagoon with dancing fountain, and sprawling green spaces.
