About San Agustin Church

San Agustin Church is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the oldest stone church in the Philippines, built between 1587 and 1607. A masterpiece of Baroque architecture that survived seven major earthquakes and WWII. The interior features stunning trompe-l'oeil ceiling murals painted by Italian artists in the 19th century. Adjacent is the San Agustin Museum with religious artifacts and colonial-era furniture.
